Xiaomi’s television portfolio in India spans across budget to premium segments. The company launched its largest QLED TV in the country last month. Now, a new leak suggests that the brand may bring its Mini LED TV series to India. They are already available in China and limited regions in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Xiaomi may enter Mini LED TV segment in India
Tipster Abhishek Yadav citing reliable source shares that the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75 is selling very well in India. Due to the strong demand, the brand plans to bring more premium televisions in the country. This time it is expected to be the Mini LED TV lineup. Xiaomi already sells those in its home market as Mini LED TV S and TV S Pro series in varying screen sizes up to 98 inches.
Although it’s unclear when Xiaomi will launch Mini LED TVs in India, it’s possible that they may be similar to China models. It also remains to be seen if the brand will bring the pro or standard lineup.
For those unaware, Mini LED TVs combine the best of both LED and QLED technology. They have thousands of smaller backlight LEDs for higher peak brightness and deeper contrast. The televisions offer OLED-like performance without flagship pricing.

The current Xiaomi TV S Pro and TV S Mini LED TVs run on Google TV OS, feature 4K displays with 144Hz refresh rate, and two 15W speakers.
If priced aggressively in India, Xiaomi’s Mini LED TVs could disrupt the television market in the country similar to when it entered the segment in the country. Many brands including Samsung, Sony, LG, TCL, Hisense offer Mini LED TVs in India.
