Xiaomi has revealed the official rollout schedule for HyperOS 3.1, its latest Android-16 based software update, along with the full list of devices that will receive it. The company quietly pushed the first stable build last week to the Xiaomi 17 series and Redmi K90 lineup in China, but this is the first time Xiaomi has confirmed the broader upgrade roadmap.
The rollout begins 11 March with the newest flagship phones and tablets, then gradually expands through the rest of March and into April.

For now, the schedule applies to devices in China, with global versions still in the testing phase. Xiaomi has not yet confirmed when international users will receive the update.
HyperOS 3.1 rollout begins with newest flagships
The update is being rolled out in phases, starting with the Xiaomi 17 lineup and Redmi K90 series, before moving to earlier flagship generations such as the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 14 families.
The final phase, scheduled for late April, includes older premium devices like the Xiaomi 13 series alongside several Redmi Note and Redmi Pad models. The staggered approach allows Xiaomi to prioritise newer hardware while still supporting a wide range of phones and tablets across its ecosystem.
HyperOS 3.1 builds on Xiaomi’s new operating system architecture and runs on Android 16, bringing performance improvements, ecosystem integration, and refinements to Xiaomi’s cross-device experience. To know more about the features coming with HyperOS 3.1, check this article.
