Garmin Venu Sq 2 GPS-enabled smartwatch launched in India
With over a week’s worth of battery life

When it comes to smartwatches, some prefer the traditional circular design, while others are more comfortable with a shrunken-smartphone-like design. Garmin’s latest smartwatch is aimed at the latter. The Venu Sq 2 series comes to our shores with built-in GPS, long battery life, and a rectangular design.
Garmin Venu Sq 2 specs, features
Garmin has launched two variants of the Venu Sq 2 smartwatch – standard and Music Edition. The latter allows you to store up to 500 songs on the watch itself, including your curated playlists from Amazon Music and Spotify.
Both feature the same rectangular design with a lightweight body, and aluminium bezels surrounding the 1.4-inch touchscreen AMOLED screen. Garmin says, the screen size is now 17% bigger than the last Venu smartwatch. Despite the bigger screen, the smartwatch offers up to 11-days of battery life, which the brand says, is an 83% increase from the last Venu smartwatch.
It’s the health-tracking capabilities where the Garmin smartwatch continues to shine. It can monitor your heart-rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, respiration, menstruation cycle, and even your stress levels. There are over 25 sports activities pre-loaded in the smartwatch, which include walking, running, cycling, tennis, and more. Another interesting addition is the built-in GPS, which helps in accurate tracking of your location and fitness activities. Needless to say, the smartwatch is not worried about the water as it boasts 5ATM water-resistance.
