Google’s Pixel Watch 4 finally lands in India

Google has finally brought the Pixel Watch 4 to India. The new wearable was announced alongside the Pixel 10 series back in August and hit other markets in October. But it’s now available for purchase nearly a month later in the country too.

Better screen, faster charging, and more

Customers can grab the 41mm Wi-Fi model for Rs 39,900 or the larger 45mm version for Rs 43,900. Google is sweetening the deal with an introductory offer that includes six months of Fitbit Premium for free. There are also no-interest EMI plans available for up to 12 months with select bank cards.

The 41mm model comes in four slick colour combinations including a Polished Silver case with an Iris band and a Matte Black case with an Obsidian band. The 45mm variant has its own options like the cool Satin Moonstone case and band.

One big upgrade is that the watch is now finally repairable. The housing is also made from 100% recycled aluminium and it features a ridiculously bright screen. Google calls it the Actua 360 display. It’s an AMOLED LTPO panel that cranks out up to 3000 nits of brightness. That’s a 50 percent jump from last year.

Under that screen, it’s powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. This runs Wear OS 6.0, which also includes a refreshed Material 3 Expressive design. The new OS also bakes in Gemini integration for AI-powered smart replies.

The sensor array is stacked, too. It has everything you’d expect like an ECG app, SpO2 monitoring, and a multi-path optical heart rate sensor. It also packs an electrical sensor for skin conductance (cEDA) for body response tracking and a skin temperature sensor.

Google also reworked the charging system. The connectors moved to the side which apparently boosts efficiency and battery life by up to 25 percent. The 41mm model (325 mAh) hits 80 percent charge in just 25 minutes, while the 45mm model (455 mAh) takes 30 minutes.
