By announcing the Workspace Studio, Google has officially unveiled a dedicated platform designed to transform how organisations handle daily repetitive work.
According to the company, this hub aims to place powerful artificial intelligence directly into the hands of every staff member without requiring technical expertise. The initiative promises to deeply embed automation into the productivity apps people use every day.
Empowering employees with no-code AI tools
Workspace Studio serves as a single place for designing, reviewing and sharing AI agents built to automate everyday responsibilities. Powered by Gemini 3, the tool enables users to construct sophisticated automation workflows through simple conversation.

No coding skills or specialised syntax are required to get started. By describing a task in natural language, the system generates a custom solution that can handle logic, reason through problems, and adapt to new information instantly.
This flexibility allows for the automation of diverse tasks, ranging from sorting inbox clutter to managing end-to-end business processes. Early adopters such as Kärcher have already incorporated Studio into their operations, replacing lengthy manual reviews with coordinated agent workflows that significantly reduced planning time.
Seamless integration across applications
Connectivity remains a major focus of this release. The agents integrate natively with Gmail, Drive, and Chat, meaning they understand the full context of a project and can reference specific company data securely. Users can also share these custom agents with colleagues just as easily as sharing a document.
For broader workflows, the platform supports connections to external enterprise apps like Jira, Salesforce, and Asana, bridging the gap between software ecosystems. While the interface prioritises simplicity, it offers depth for technical users who can incorporate Apps Script for custom needs.

Google says Workspace Studio will begin rolling out within the next few weeks, giving businesses the option to start creating agents through templates or natural language instructions.
