Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption is an iconic game that we all enjoyed on the big screen. Some played it on console, while others on their gaming PC. Now, the game has made its way to mobile, fifteen years after its original debut, and we can’t wait to play it. Here’s how you can download and play RDR on your iPhone and Android phone.
Play Red Dead Redemption on Android and iOS
Rockstar Games has made the game available directly on the Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS devices. Having said that, you don’t need to do any workarounds to play the game on your phone.
However, it’s not a free game, at least for those who aren’t Netflix subscribers. The game costs Rs 3,300 on App Store and Play Store, but Netflix subscribers can play it for free. Here’s how to download and play it right away on your phone.
Step 1: Open the Play Store on Android and App Store for iPhones.
Step 2: Search for the game in the search bar. You can simply type ‘RDR’ and hit enter.
Step 3: You should now see the game. Just install it and open it. It may take a while to download all the game files, but once it’s done, you can start playing.

Interestingly, Red Dead Redemption on mobile comes with Undead Nightmare and zombie plague DLCs. The game starts with you playing as John Marston, a former outlaw who’s forced to hunt down his old gang members. The story is set in the 17th century.
You get mobile-friendly controls, and support controllers as well. Notably, the game recently got a facelift with support for 60fps on consoles. On mobile, however, Rockstar hasn’t updated the settings.
