How to use Instagram Edits

Not long after the day-long TikTok ban in the US, Meta-owned Instagram introduced Edits, a rival to CapCut, along with longer Reels.

The app offers a comprehensive suite of editing and analysis tools for creators or those who love to document their day-to-day doings. Here’s everything you need to know about Edits, and how to use it:

Whether you want to craft reels or track their performance, Edits has everything you need in one place. Apart from that, it also comes with a set of comprehensive features, such as creating AI powered animations out of static cut out images, green screen replacements, as well as subject cutouts.

The app was introduced as Meta’s answer to CapCut and essentially urges users to create high-quality Reels right out of their smartphones. Other features also include sound and voice effects for voiceovers, apart from allowing users to remove background in their video real-time.

The platform additionally allows users to record on the app at upto 4K, 60fps, and even supports multiple lenses. Edits can accommodate videos upto 10 minutes and since the app is integrated with Instagram and Facebook, you will be able to share them directly to your feed to post. Moreover, Meta has done away with any watermarks.
