Apple is expected to announce a couple of new devices in the coming weeks. These include new MacBook Pro models powered by the latest Apple silicon, the upcoming iPad Air, and a budget iPhone.
A recent report claimed that the MacBook Pro models may debut by early March. As for the new iPad Air and the affordable iPhone, they are expected to launch soon, as their previous generations have reportedly sold out, according to an X post by Mark Gurman.
Upcoming affordable iPhone: What to expect?
Reports suggest that the upcoming budget iPhone will bring three major upgrades, including the Apple A19 chip for a performance boost, MagSafe wireless charging support, and the C1X modem, which is expected to deliver improved networking speeds.
Some reports also claim that its front camera may be upgraded to 18MP. The rest of the specifications are likely to remain unchanged compared to the iPhone 16e. Pricing may also stay the same, with the base model expected to cost Rs 59,900.
Upcoming iPad: What to expect?
The new iPad is expected to arrive in 11-inch and 13-inch LED-backlit display options, like the previous generation. It is tipped to feature a 12MP front camera with Centre Stage support and a 12MP rear camera.
The device is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM and an N1 chip supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. For cellular connectivity, it may include the same C1X 5G modem that is also expected to power the upcoming budget iPhone.
There is currently no official information about the upcoming iPad’s pricing for the Indian market. In the US, it may start at $599 (approximately Rs 54,400).
