iQOO Z11 is iQOO’s first phone with 165Hz OLED screen and 9,020mAh battery

The iQOO Z11 has been unveiled along with the iQOO Z11x in China. The Z11x is the same phone that debuted in India earlier this month. However, the Z11 is a completely new phone that sits under the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered Z11 Turbo, which was announced in January in China. What is exciting about the Z11 is that it is the first phone from iQOO to feature a 165Hz display and a massive 9,020mAh battery.

iQOO Z11 key features, specifications

The iQOO Z11 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS screen that supports a 165Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth visuals and a peak brightness of up to 5,000nits. Under the hood is the Dimensity 8500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, the device includes an OIS-enabled 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The standout feature is undoubtedly the 9,020mAh battery, which is currently the largest in the brand’s portfolio. It supports 90W fast charging, but lacks support for wireless charging.

Other notable features include OriginOS 6-based Android 16, dual speakers, an x-axis linear motor, a 7,000mm² heat dissipation unit, and a dedicated gaming engine to enhance overall performance. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port.

The Z11’s build includes a plastic frame and an optical fingerprint sensor for security. Additionally, the phone is designed to be durable, carrying both IP68 and IP69 ratings for superior water and dust resistance.
