Motorola Edge 70 is an ultra-slim phone with a 5.99mm thickness

Motorola is back with another Edge series phone, and this one has sleek aesthetics without compromising on performance and style. Some of the phone’s highlights include a 5.99mm thin build and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 performance. It also houses a large battery and 4K cameras. Here’s all you need to know.

What’s special about the Motorola Edge 70?

The Motorola Edge 70 is actually a rebadged Moto X70 Air meant for the global markets. It gets a 5.99mm slim build and weighs just 159 grams. The device features a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It also gets 4,500 nits of peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Despite its slim design, the performance appears to be solid, as it gets the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage. For endurance, you get a 4,800mAh battery, which is still large, given it’s an ultra-thin phone.

Further, there’s support for 68W TurboPower and 15W wireless fast charging support for quick top-ups. Other features include IP68 + IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and 50MP dual cameras on the back with 4K video recording support. There’s also a 50MP front camera for selfies.

Connectivity features include dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4. Lastly, the Edge 70 boots on Android 16 OS out of the box and has several first-party features, including a few AI tools.
