Motorola has quietly announced the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+. In terms of design, this phone bears resemblance to the Edge 70 Fusion, which recently debuted in India. However, it packs a better camera setup. Here’s a look at what the handset is packed with.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+: Specs and features
Starting from the front, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of ,5200 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. When it comes to durability, it offers an IP68/69 level of dust and water resistance, apart from MIL-STD-810H grade shock resistance.
The Edge 70 Fusion+ runs on Hello UX-based Android 16. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage. It houses a 5,200mAh battery with 68W fast charging. This is comparatively smaller than the massive 7,000mAh battery that powers the non-Plus variant released in India.
On the front, it has a 50MP camera for selfies and videos. Its back panel has a 50MP Sony LYT-710 main camera, a 10MP ultra-wide lens with macro support, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. In comparison, the Indian version has a 50MP+13MP dual-camera setup on the back.
The Edge 70 Fusion+ comes with usual connectivity features, such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and a USB-C port, apart from eSIM support. It has a slim profile of 7.21mm and weighs around 177 grams.
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+: Price and availability
Brazil has received the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion+ in a single 12GB+256GB trim priced at BRL 2,696 (~Rs 52,900). Buyers can get this phone in Pantone colours like Orient Blue and Blue Surf. At present, there is no clarity about which other markets will be receiving this phone.
