Earlier in October 2025, Nothing introduced the Phone (3a) Lite for the global audience. Today, the smartphone has formally debuted in India, giving the brand a more budget-conscious option in the Phone (3a) family. It highlights include a vivid 120Hz AMOLED panel, extended software support, a Dimensity 7000-series chip, and a 5,000mAh battery built for long daily routes.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite: Specifications and features
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display brings 1080 x 2392 (FHD+) resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh, 480Hz touch sampling, HDR-grade contrast, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a 3000 nits peak luminance tier for clear outdoor visibility. The display also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor and Panda Glass protection.
Instead of the complete Glyph LED arrangement seen on other Phone (3a) models, this version uses one compact Glyph notification light, which still enables Flip to Glyph alerts and personal light sequences.
The Phone (3a) Lite is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 8GB additional virtual RAM, and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. A hybrid Dual SIM tray lets users add a microSD card, handling expansion of up to 2TB.
The built-in 5,000mAh battery supports 33W wired top-ups, reaching close to 50% charge in around 20 minutes. A power brick is not part of the box, but a transparent protective case is provided. A liquid-cooling layer is added internally to moderate warmer gaming sessions.
The Phone (3a) Lite runs Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5. Nothing confirms three major Android OS generation updates and six years of security patches. The Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 interface revision is scheduled for early 2026.
The rear triple cameras include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera with stabilization-backed capture. Video can be recorded at up to 4K 30fps. The 16MP front camera supports 1080p recording for smooth vlog-style motion and 60fps modes for sharper call video.
For connectivity, the device offers dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6 with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB-C. An Essential Key button opens Essential Space, a personal spot for clipped notes, ideas, and quick voice memos.
