Nothing has finally taken the wraps off the Phone (4a) series, and this time it brings a ton of new changes. While the Nothing Phone (4a) retains the transparent design, the Phone (4a) Pro goes for a more mature look with the Glyph Matrix. Additionally, both are AI phones with a bunch of new Essential Space features throughout the system. Here’s everything you need to know.

Nothing Phone (4a) key features and highlights

The Phone (4a) comes in four playful shades, including yellow and pink colours. It retains the transparent design but refines it with an improved Glyph Interface. It gets 63 mini-LEDs and supports features like Glyph Progress, Bedtime schedule, and more.

The device features a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz. There are camera upgrades, too. It gets a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Samsung GN9 main sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide unit, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope sensor. The periscope sensor supports 3.5x optical zoom, 7x in-sensor zoom, and 70x total zoom.

Performance-wise, it draws power from the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, an upgrade from the predecessor’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It gets LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. It packs a larger 5,400mAh battery and comes with 50W fast charging support.

Nothing Phone (4a) Pro key features and highlights

The Phone (4a) Pro is a complete revamp, as it ditches the transparent design for something mature. It gets a Glyph Matrix similar to the flagship Phone (3). It now comes with a more premium metal body and packs the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

The Pro gets a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a faster 144Hz display. It supports 5,000 nits peak brightness and has Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It gets a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope unit with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The selfie camera is a 32MP unit.

As far as the battery is concerned, it packs the same battery capacity as the non-pro model and also has the same 50W charging. Nothing is giving six years of security and three years of Android updates with the Phone (4a) Pro. Out of the box, it boots Android 16.

Nothing Phone (4a) series: price and availability

The Phone (4a) is pricier than the Phone (3a), starting at Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro starts at Rs 39,999 for the same variant. Here’s the full price list:
