OnePlus has had a busy first half of 2024, with the OnePlus 12 and 12R launching early in the year, and then moving on to unveiling its latest — the OnePlus Nord CE4.

Apart from this, the brand has also rolled out new developments for its smartphone lineup in a phased manner and has recently announced a bunch of updates for the OnePlus 10T. So, if you’re a OnePlus 10T user awaiting one, here’s everything new that will come with the new update.

OxygenOS 14.0.0.701 update for OnePlus 10T: What's new?

The Android-based OxygenOS update is classified with the build number IN: CPH2413_14.0.0.700(EX01) in India and was disclosed by the brand on the OnePlus Community forum.

The post stated that the update will allow users to click a Partial Screenshot using an option provided in the smartphone’s Smart Sidebar. Apart from this, users will be able to create a collage on their Photos app minus the frames, allowing creators a lot more creative liberty while editing.

Further, the post states how the new update will bring in the added functionality of switching on the torch by holding the volume down button — even when the screen is switched off

How to install the OxygenOS 14.0.0.701 update on your OnePlus 10T smartphone

According to OnePlus, the update has already begun rolling out in batches to OnePlus 10T users across India, along with the global market. It further urges users to report of any bugs or glitches via a comment on the thread.

To check for updates, all you have to do is open the Settings app on your OnePlus smartphone and navigate to About Device. On tapping this, you will find the Android version mentioned at the top of the screen.

It is crucial to keep in mind that your smartphone should be charged at a minimum of 50 per cent for the update to go through and you should additionally ensure a stable internet connection.
