OnePlus is gearing up to announce the OnePlus 15, OnePlus Ace 6, and OnePlus Pad 2 tablets on October 27. Ahead of the unveiling, the brand has been revealing key details of these upcoming devices to build up the hype. The latest reveal by the company confirms the battery capacity and charging capabilities of the upcoming OnePlus 15.
OnePlus 15 battery capacity, charging speed
To recall, the OnePlus 13 was backed by an impressive 6,000mAh battery. Its successor brings a major upgrade, featuring a huge 7,300mAh unit that may easily last more than a day on a full charge.
The OnePlus 15 is also set to get a slight boost in wired charging speeds. While the previous model supported 100W fast charging, the new model will offer 120W wired charging, along with 50W wireless charging and bypass charging support. The latter allows power to flow directly to the system instead of the battery, reducing heat and extending battery lifespan during gaming or intensive use.
In addition to its impressive battery, OnePlus has confirmed that the device will feature a 6.78-inch BOE X3 OLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption.

While the company has not yet confirmed the camera setup, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15’s triple rear camera system will include a Sony LYT-700 50MP main sensor with OIS, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and an OIS-enabled JN5 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
OnePlus 15’s expected India launch date
Although OnePlus has not officially confirmed the India launch date, reports indicate that the OnePlus 15 may debut in India on November 13, just weeks after its China unveiling. Once launched, it will go up against rivals like the Realme GT 8 Pro and iQOO 15 in the premium flagship segment.
