OnePlus has officially introduced the new OnePlus Nord 6 to the Indian market, following weeks of speculation. Like the flagship offerings such as the OnePlus 15 series, the Nord 6 sports a 165Hz display, and it packs the largest battery ever seen on a OnePlus phone. OnePlus Nord 6: Specs and features
The OnePlus Nord 6 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. This panel is protected by Crystal Shield Glass and reaches a peak brightness of 2800 nits. For security, it has an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the mobile runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage for fast multitasking. A specialised cooling system is also present to manage heat effectively, ensuring that performance stays consistent even during long gaming sessions.
For the camera setup, it features a 50MP primary Sony LYTIA-600 sensor with optical image stabilisation. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, a 32MP sensor handles selfies. The phone runs on ColorOS 16-based Android 16 and is promised to receive four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
A major talking point is the huge 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that can last for two days. It supports 80W fast charging to top up the battery quickly. The handset is also highly durable, carrying IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for tough conditions.
OnePlus Nord 6: Price and availability
The OnePlus Nord 6 has arrived in India in two options: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. These variants are priced at Rs 38,999 and Rs 41,999, respectively. Buyers can choose from shades like Holographic Quick Silver, Fresh Mint, and Pitch Black.
