OnePlus Nord CE 6, Nord CE 6 Lite tipped to launch in May, key specifications emerge

OnePlus is all set to announce the OnePlus Nord 6 on April 7 in China. The brand has previously confirmed that the Nord 6 series will include multiple phones, and now a leak by tipster Mukul Sharma claims that it will comprise the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. A separate leak by 91mobiles Hindi has revealed the key specifications of the Nord CE 6.

OnePlus Nord CE 6, Nord CE 6 Lite incoming

According to the tipster, the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will debut in May in India. He also shared an image that gives a first look at the Nord CE 6’s design.

The upcoming Nord CE 6 Lite will mark the company’s return to the Lite variant, as it was skipped in the Nord 5 series last year. Unfortunately, the technical details of the Nord CE 6 Lite are not known yet. As for the CE 6, a report by 91mobiles has revealed some details about the phone.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 key specifications leaked

As per the leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will pack a huge 8,000mAh battery. This will be a notable upgrade over the Nord CE 5, which featured a 7,100mAh battery.

The Nord CE 6’s base model may arrive with 8GB of RAM. It could be available in two colour options, one of which appears in the leaked image. The rest of its details remain under wraps.

Previous reports suggest that the Nord CE 6 could be based on the OnePlus Turbo 6V, which debuted in China earlier this year. The Turbo 6V features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It includes a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera.

The Turbo 6V packs a massive 9,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
