OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W GaN charger launched with dual ports and compact design

Alongside the launch of the OnePlus Nord 6 with a 9,000mAh battery yesterday, the brand also announced a GaN charger in India. The OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W power adapter is quite different from the existing 100W and 80W charging bricks. Some of the key features of the accessory include dual ports, faster charging, and the compact design. Read on to know everything below.

OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W specifications

The OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W charger has a portable and lightweight form factor. Gallium Nitride allows it to operate at higher voltages and frequencies. The third-generation technology is said to achieve a high conversion efficiency of up to 90 percent. The power adapter has a USB-A port and a USB-C port. 

The newest OnePlus charging adapter is capable of delivering up to 100W SuperVOOC fast charging or up to 65W power delivery via a single port usage. It distributes power intelligently when topping two devices simultaneously. There are multiple dual-port charging speed variations like 33W + 33W, 30W + 18W, 67W + 33W, and 45W + 18W. The adapter is compatible with laptops, smartphones, and tablets. It also supports charging protocols like PPS, QC, and UFCS. 

The OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W GaN charger is priced at Rs 3,499 but can be purchased at Rs 3,199 for a limited period. The accessory is already available on the brand’s website in White colour. To recall, the regular 100W charging brick costs Rs 2,499.
