Last week, OnePlus officially confirmed that it will unveil the performance-focused Turbo lineup of smartphones in China. Today, the brand confirmed that the Turbo 6 series will break cover on January 8, 2026, and the lineup will include two models: the Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V. Ahead of the official debut, OnePlus has already revealed several key configuration and design details.
Interestingly, there is also growing speculation that these devices could make their way to India later this year under different names, potentially launching as the OnePlus Nord 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6, respectively. Here’s a look at what the Turbo 6 / Nord 6 series will offer.
OnePlus Turbo 6 specifications (rumoured)
According to rumours, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is expected to feature a flat display with a 1.5K resolution. The screen size is tipped to be 6.78 inches, and it is said to support a high 165Hz refresh rate, making it particularly appealing to gamers and power users.
Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The phone is also rumoured to pack a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. Additional hardware details include LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, along with support for 27W reverse wired charging.

In terms of variants and colours, OnePlus has officially revealed that the Turbo 6 will be offered in four memory configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB. Buyers will be able to choose from three colour options, namely Lone Black, Chasing Light Silver, and Wilderness Green.
OnePlus Turbo 6V specifications (rumoured)
According to a recent report, the OnePlus Turbo 6V is positioned as a slightly more affordable option within the Turbo lineup. It is also said to feature a flat 6.78-inch OLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Powering the Turbo 6V is likely to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Despite its mid-range positioning, the device is still rumoured to include a large 9,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.
As for variants and colours, OnePlus has confirmed that the Turbo 6V will be available in 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB configurations. Colour options confirmed for this model include Lone Black, Nova White, and Fearless Blue.
The Turbo 6 series is said to feature a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 32MP camera on the front. Both phones are expected to share several common features, including ColorOS 16-based Android 16, an IR blaster, an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
