Recently, OnePlus confirmed that it will unveil a new performance-focused mid-range series called the OnePlus Turbo in January in China. The series is also expected to launch globally, including India, though it remains unclear whether it will retain the Turbo branding or debut under the existing Nord lineup.
Recent reports suggest that the OnePlus Turbo series may include two models: one powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and another, more affordable option featuring a Snapdragon 7-series processor. The latter, reportedly dubbed the OnePlus Turbo V by the rumour mill, has now appeared in live images shared by Android Headlines.
OnePlus Turbo V real-life images, specifications (rumoured)
The leaked images indicate that the alleged OnePlus Turbo V, bearing the model number CPH2805, features a plastic build with flat edges. Its camera module appears to be a toned-down version of the OnePlus 15’s camera island. The device sports a flat display with rounded corners and slim bezels on all four sides.
Although the report does not explicitly name the device as the OnePlus Turbo V, it is believed to be this variant, as it is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. On the front, the phone is expected to feature a large 6.8-inch OLED display delivering a 1.5K resolution along with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
One of the major highlights of the device is its massive 9,000mAh battery, which reportedly supports 80W fast charging. The report further states that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Turbo V is said to feature a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Other expected features include OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. Apart from the bluish-green colour option seen in the leaked images, the device is also expected to arrive in a black colour variant.
OnePlus Turbo series global launch (rumoured)
The report claims that the OnePlus Turbo series could be announced globally in March. As such, there is a possibility that the lineup may be showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, scheduled to take place between March 2 and 5 in Barcelona, Spain.
