MediaTek recently unveiled the Dimensity 9500s, and it was also revealed that the upcoming Oppo Find X9s would come equipped with it. So far, the rumour mill has been leaking details of the X9s in bits and pieces. However, a new report by SmartPrix has now surfaced, revealing its core specifications well before its expected launch timeframe.
Oppo Find X9s specifications (rumoured)
According to the publication, the Oppo Find X9s will be somewhat similar to the Find X9, which was announced back in November. Like the Find X9 (review), the X9s is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Find X9s will run on the 3nm Dimensity 9500s, which is a slightly “toned-down” version of the existing Dimensity 9500 that powered the X9. The phone will run on Android 16 with the ColorOS skin on top and pack a 7,025mAh battery with 100W charging. While the battery size remains the same, fast charging gets a slight speed upgrade, but wireless charging has been removed compared to the X9.
The Find X9s is said to feature a 32MP front camera and a 50MP (Sony LYT-700) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 50MP (3x periscope telephoto) triple camera unit on the back. The camera sensors may not be exactly the same as the X9, as it featured a Sony LYT-808 primary sensor.
These details suggest that the Find X9s could be positioned lower than the Find X9. However, there is no information about the X9s price tag.
Oppo Find X9s launch timeframe (rumoured)
The report also states that the Oppo Find X9s is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of this year. The brand is also reportedly considering launching the Find X9 Ultra in India. So, there is a possibility that the X9s and X9 Ultra may break cover together.
After the X9s and X9 Ultra, the company is expected to announce the next-generation Find X10 lineup in November in the country. This would be the first time that the brand would launch two generations of Find X-series flagships in a year in India.
For China, the lineup reportedly includes multiple models, such as the Find X10, X10 Pro, and X10 Pro Max, in October. It remains to be seen whether all these X10 models arrive on Indian soil.
