Oppo Reno 15 series is launching next week in India; here’s the date

After teasing the arrival of the Reno 15 series in India over the past few days, Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date. Scheduled to debut on January 8, the Reno 15 lineup will include three models: the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini.

The brand had recently confirmed key details about the design and display of the Reno 15 models. Now, in a new press release, Oppo has not only confirmed the launch date but has also revealed the camera capabilities of the lineup.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 Pro Mini camera specs confirmed

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini are confirmed to feature a 200MP primary camera. Equipped with the company’s PureTechnology, the main camera is said to deliver clean-looking images without making them appear artificial, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Both phones also feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom with an 85mm focal length, promising impressive portrait shots with natural background compression and better subject separation.

The Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini also support 4K HDR video recording at 60fps across all cameras. The series introduces the AI Editor 3.0 feature, which includes tools such as AI Portrait Glow and Popout that add depth and refinement to images. Oppo claims that the standard Reno 15 also supports these AI editing features, although its detailed camera specifications have not yet been confirmed.

Oppo Reno 15 series comes in different screen size options

The Oppo Reno 15 is confirmed to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, while the Reno 15 Pro sports a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED screen. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is positioned as a compact option, equipped with a 6.32-inch AMOLED panel. All three smartphones offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Rumours also suggest that the Reno 15 series could include a fourth model called the Oppo Reno 15c. However, the brand is yet to confirm its existence officially.
