Details for Oppo’s upcoming Reno 15 series have started to surface, revealing some big upgrades including a monster battery and a new camera system. Leaks from multiple sources suggest Oppo is gearing up for one of its most ambitious updates to the lineup, which has historically sat a notch below its flagship Find X series.
Leaks point to huge upgrades
The new phones are already undergoing testing in India and other global markets. Inside, the Reno 15 Pro is rumoured to be a MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 silicon, while another variant might feature the unannounced Dimensity 8500 chip.
This signals a major performance jump for the series. The real headline grabber, however, is the camera. Whispers point to at least one model sporting a colossal 200MP main sensor, a massive leap from previous generations. A periscope telephoto lens is also tipped for inclusion.

Oppo is apparently also going all-in on battery life. One rumour suggests a mind-boggling 10,000mAh battery could make its way into the lineup. This would be a huge increase over the 6,000mAh cells found in last year’s Reno 14 family.
These will power some slick new displays. The standard Reno 15 is expected to offer a more compact 6.3-inch screen, with the Pro model getting a larger 6.8-inch panel. Both are expected to be 1.5K OLEDs with a 120Hz refresh rate, and some reports claim they will be flat rather than curved.
We won’t have to wait too long to see if these rumours pan out. The Reno 15 series is expected to debut in China sometime in late 2025, possibly around November. Following Oppo’s usual pattern, a global rollout including an India launch should happen in early 2026.
