Oppo Reno 15c launches with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, three 50MP cameras

The Oppo Reno 15c has gone official in China as an entry-level offering in the Reno 15 series, which already includes two models, the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, powered by Dimensity 8450 chipsets. Read on to know everything about the newly unveiled Reno 15c.

Oppo Reno 15c: Specs and features

The Oppo Reno 15c features a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, supported by high-frequency PWM dimming for comfortable viewing. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which delivers noticeable CPU and GPU improvements over its predecessor for smoother multitasking and gaming.

On the imaging front, the phone includes a 50MP Sony main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front houses a 50MP wide-angle selfie camera. Camera features include live photo stitching, ultra-wide live selfies and 4K live capture.

The Reno 15c runs ColorOS 16 out of the box, focusing on system smoothness and AI-backed enhancements. A 6,500mAh battery supports 80W fast charging, along with IP69-rated water resistance and 360-degree drop protection.

In terms of design, the Reno 15c features a cold-carved glass back paired with a metal frame, keeping the profile slim at 7.77mm while weighing 197g.

Oppo Reno 15c: Price and availability

The Reno 15c is available in China in College Blue, Aurora Blue, and Starlight Bow colours. The 12GB+256GB variant is priced at 2,899 CNY (~Rs 37,120), while the 12GB+512GB option costs 3,199 CNY (~Rs 40,960).

The phone is already open for pre-orders and will go on sale from December 19 in China. There is no word on global availability yet.

Oppo Reno 15 series India launch timeframe (rumoured)

Reports suggest that the Oppo Reno 15 series could launch in India in January 2026. The expected lineup may include the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Max.
