Oppo Reno 8T launched in India: What you need to know about the new phone

Oppo has launched the latest smartphone in its Reno-series, the Oppo Reno 8T. The new Oppo Reno smartphone comes in at under Rs 30,000, and offers a budget flagship experience. Here’s all you need to know about the phone’s specifications, features, pricing, and availability.

Oppo Reno 8T specifications and features

The Oppo Reno 8T sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-Bit AMOLED display with curved design. This display panel also comes with 120Hz refresh rate and a centre-aligned punch-hole cut-out for the front camera. On the back, you’ll see a new camera layout with a dual-module camera island design. Oppo’s new Glow-process back panel also offers a shimmering crystal effect.

The Oppo Reno 8T is also powered by a Snapdragon 695 chip, which is a 5G-enabled chipset. This is accompanied by 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and support for virtual RAM expansion. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.

The Oppo Reno 8T camera setup comprises of a main 108MP camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor, and a new 40x MicroLens camera for ‘microscopic photography’. Surprisingly there is no ultrawide camera this time around. On the front is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the Oppo Reno 8T runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1. The phone also comes with 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
