Just as new flagship phones like the Vivo X300 series ship with OriginOS 6, and the Oppo Find X9 lineup comes with ColorOS 16, Realme is introducing its latest software iteration, Realme UI 7.
The upcoming Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro, launching on October 21, will be the first to debut with the new interface. In fact, Realme has also confirmed the list of devices eligible for the Realme UI 7 update and shared details about its features and rollout roadmap.
Realme UI 7: Key features officially confirmed
One of the biggest design overhauls in Realme UI 7 is its transparent design, similar to the Liquid Glass UI found on Apple’s iOS 26. The icons and control centre now sport a frosted glass finish, while the homescreen supports resizable icons and flexible layouts such as 1×2, 2×1, and 2×2.
To enhance performance, Realme UI 7 introduces a Streaming Engine, ensuring smoother animations, greater stability under heavy load, and faster system response. The update also includes a Smart Window feature, allowing users to run up to 12 apps in mini windows for seamless multitasking.
Realme UI 7: Rollout roadmap, eligible devices
The Realme GT 8 series will ship with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, and it is confirmed to receive four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
November 2025 roll-out:
The update will first arrive for the Realme GT7 Pro, GT7 Pro Racing Edition, GT7, Realme GT7 Aston Martin F1 Edition.
