Redmi A7 Pro 5G launch date, key specs
The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is confirmed to launch in India on April 13, marking the first Pro model in the Redmi A series. One of its key upgrades is a 6,300mAh battery, which is larger than the 6,000mAh unit seen on the 4G version launched in global markets.
The device is also expected to feature an octa-core 5G chipset, although the exact processor name has not been revealed yet. Redmi has highlighted AI capabilities as a key aspect of the phone, including features like Circle to Search and other AI-based camera enhancements.
On the front, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G is expected to come with a 6.9-inch display featuring a waterdrop notch. The company has hinted at a smooth display experience, suggesting a high refresh rate panel aimed at improving everyday usage such as scrolling and media consumption.
For photography, the phone is confirmed to include a 32MP dual AI camera setup. While details about the secondary sensor remain unclear, the focus appears to be on improving image processing through AI features.
