While Samsung has released the One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, its other devices are still awaiting public beta access. This does not mean that these devices have been left out of Samsung’s update roadmap. In fact, the South Korean tech giant has been actively testing One UI 8.5 for a wide range of Galaxy devices internally.

One UI 8.5: What to expect?
One UI 8.5 is said to be a refinement-focused update rather than a visual overhaul, building on the foundation laid by One UI 8. Early testing suggests smoother system animations, improved background app management, and better consistency across Galaxy phones, foldables, and tablets.
Users can also expect deeper Galaxy AI integration, smarter multitasking on large screens, and incremental privacy and battery optimisations aimed at everyday reliability rather than headline-grabbing changes.
