Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming V-series smartphone. The Vivo V70 FE will be arriving next week in India. It will join the already existing V70 and V70 Lite in the country. Ahead of the launch, the brand has revealed a few key specifications of the device. The upcoming offering is expected to be the base model in the lineup.
Vivo V70 FE key details confirmed
The Vivo V70 FE is confirmed to debut in India on April 2, Friday, at 12 noon. The smartphone is confirmed to be available from Amazon and Vivo’s channels.

As per the microsite on the official website, the V70 FE will come in Northern Lights Purple and Monsoon Blue colours. The former has a glowing back panel in dark after exposure to UV/sunlight, thanks to the photoluminescent substance embedded in layers of sheets. The phone features a pill-shaped camera island housing a 200MP OIS-enabled main camera coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50MP selfie snapper.
The device is teased to offer up to AI-assisted 30x zoom and shoot across multiple focal lengths up to 85mm. The camera can lock moving subjects with Super Motion Snapshot. There are various AI features onboard.
The Vivo V70 FE is confirmed to be equipped with a 7,000mAh battery unit with support for 90W charging along with Bypass charging to preserve battery health. The smartphone will arrive with a 6.83-inch OLED display bearing a 1.2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,900 nits peak brightness. The upcoming offering is also IP68 and 69 certified and can be used for underwater photography.
