What iPhone 14 variants are going on sale in India?

The much-anticipated Apple ‘Far Out’ event saw the official announcement of the new iPhone series, which includes the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Here’s a quick summary of the different iPhone 14 variants about to go on sale in India.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus

The base models of the newest Apple iPhone series feature the same design and A15 Bionic chip as their predecessors – the iPhone 13. But where it scores is in the photography, safety, and battery departments. The primary camera is 12-megapixels while the front camera now comes with autofocus. Paired with Apple’s Photonic Engine, the cameras let you take great quality photographs even in low light.

While the iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch display, the iPhone 14 Plus has a new, larger 6.7-inch display. Both these models are available in three storage capacities – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

The iPhone 14 is priced at Rs 79,900 (128GB), Rs 89,900 (256GB), and Rs 1,09,900 (512GB). The iPhone 14 Plus, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 89,900 (128GB), Rs 99,900 (256GB), and Rs 1,19,900 (512GB). Both iPhones are available in Blue, Purple, Midnight, Starlight, and (Product) Red colours.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

Remember how the internet was not a fan of the pill-shaped notch revealed by the iPhone 14 Pro leaked images? Turns out, this very notch has everyone going gaga, courtesy the Dynamic Island. In Apple’s words, “The Dynamic Island enables new ways to interact with iPhone, featuring a design that blends the line between hardware and software, adapting in real-time to show important alerts, notifications, and activities.”

These models are powered by an A16 Bionic chip, which according to Apple, is 40% faster than what the competition offers. The chip, in tandem with the advanced camera hardware of the Pro lineup, results in some incredible photography features.

iPhone 14 Pro screen is a reasonable 6.1-inches while the iPhone 14 Pro Max screen measures 6.7-inches. Both these models will be available in four storage variants (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB)

The iPhone 14 Pro is priced at Rs 1,29,900 (128GB), Rs 1,39,900 (256GB), Rs 1,59,900 (512GB), and Rs 1,79,900 (1TB). The iPhone 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 1,39,900 (128GB), Rs 1,49,900 (256GB), Rs 1,69,900 (512GB), and Rs 1,89,900 (1TB). Both devices are available in four colour options – Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple.

iPhone 14 variants: Which one to buy?

With the iPhone 14 range up for pre-booking, everyone has the same question: which model to choose? The best iPhone 14 variant is going to vary from person to person. Power users should prefer the Pro or Pro Max for its new A16 chip.

If you want a fine balance of price, performance, and size, the standard iPhone 14 is perfect. The iPhone 14 Plus is a good option for people who want a large-screen iPhone without extra features. Want to know more about the new iPhones? Here’s everything you need to know about the new iPhone 14.
