The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra launched in China last September and December respectively. Now, a new report reveals the launch date of both phones for the global markets. Additionally, the source also shares the pricing details and colour options of the upcoming flagships. These will succeed the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra from last year.
Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra launch date, pricing details emerge
DealLabs reports that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra could be unveiled on February 28. This is just a few days before Mobile World Congress (MWC) kicks off in Barcelona on March 2. The source also mentions the pricing of both phones in Europe, and it will be identical to their predecessors.
The standard model is tipped to start at EUR 999 (~Rs 1,07,390) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB option is said to cost EUR 1,099 (~Rs 1,18,118). Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will reportedly carry a price tag of EUR 1,499 (~Rs 1,61,109) and EUR 1,699 (~Rs 1,82,605) for the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations respectively.
The Xiaomi 17 will arrive in Black, Green, Blue, and Pink colours. The ultra model is expected to be available in Black, White, and Green shades. Except for smaller batteries, both phones in Europe will reportedly have the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts.
The Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are also expected to make their way to India. The successors to the upcoming offerings debuted in March last year. So, we can expect a similar launch timeline this year.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav, citing a source revealed that the standard model could start at Rs 80,000 while the Ultra variant may land at Rs 1,25,000 suggesting a price hike over predecessors in the country compared to Europe.
