Reorder carousel after it's live

Instagram now lets you reorder carousel photos and videos after publishing; here’s how

Instagram is rolling out one of the most requested features that lets you reorder carousel posts, including photos and videos, even after they are published. What this means is you no longer have to delete a carousel post only to fix the order of the slides.

Sounds good? Here’s how you can reorder your carousel photos and videos after the carousel post is live.

The feature is rolling out to everyone, and all you need to do is keep the app updated to get it. Once you have the feature, you can follow the steps below to reorder carousel photos and videos.

Step 1: Once a carousel post is live, just hit the three dots at the top of the post.

Step 2: Tap Edit.

Step 3: Long-press a photo or video in the carousel and drag it to the left or right to reorder it.

Pretty convenient, right? This is a small, yet useful feature, especially for creators.

Other than this, you can also edit the Alt Text, change the caption, and tag people or remove certain slides.

Instagram is giving more control to creators with these features, and with this little update, we are only expected to see more carousels from our favourite creators.
