How can you see who viewed your Instagram profile

It's not officially supported, but there is a workaround

How can you see who viewed your Instagram profile

Instagram does not offer any method by which to track who viewed your Instagram profile page. This has mostly likely been done in the interest of privacy.

You can, however, keep track of users who are viewing your stories and interacting with your posts. Some third-party apps may allow tracking, but these are usually blocked or banned as the methods they use to track profile views aren’t compliant with Instagram parent company Meta’s policies.

How to check viewers on Stories

This is simple enough. Open Instagram, tap on your story at the top of the screen, then tap on the bottom left corner where you’ll see a tiny profile photo of the last person who viewed your story.

Tap on that, and you’ll see a list of everyone who has viewed your story, which should give you a fairly good idea of the people viewing your profile.

Influxy

With the massive disclaimer that this app may or may not steal your data and that of your friends, check out Influxy, which is available for Android devices.

As with all third-party apps, Influxy is a potential privacy nightmare but it does promise to give you more information on activities on Instagram, including notifications when people block, unblock, or subscribe to your profile, among other things. Of course, it also claims to show who viewed your profile.

Reviews indicate that the app’s performance is hit or miss, however, so we’d recommend you stay away from such third-party apps unless it’s very important that you know who viewed your profile.

If you have a public profile there really is no official way to prevent any random profile from viewing yours. Even if you block an account, the user can create a new one at any time. If privacy is a concern, it would be best to make your account private instead.
