The iQOO 15 Ultra colour variants are dubbed 2077 Glowing Orange and 2049 Icy Blue. Based on the naming, the new finishes appear to pay tribute to iconic sci-fi titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Blade Runner 2049.
iQOO 15 Ultra specifications (rumoured)
While iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15 Ultra is built for hard-core gamers, its technical details have not been officially confirmed yet. However, it is expected to inherit several specifications from the regular iQOO 15.
A leaked schematic that surfaced on Weibo recently revealed that the phone will feature an active cooling fan and an air outlet on the opposite side of the camera module. It is also said to include a large heat dissipation unit and gaming shoulder buttons.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15 Ultra is tipped to pack a 7,800mAh battery with 200W fast charging support. In comparison, the standard iQOO 15 comes with a 7,000mAh battery and 100W charging.
The 15 Ultra is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 6.85-inch AMOLED 2K 144Hz display, making it an ideal phone for gaming. For photography, it may feature a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS. The device is expected to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
