OnePlus announced the OnePlus 15 last week, and towards the end of the event, fans got a sweet surprise. The brand confirmed that there’s another 15 series phone coming, dubbed the OnePlus 15R.
OnePlus 15R India launch timeline
OnePlus has only announced the 15R’s availability, but hasn’t revealed when it’s exactly hitting the shelves. But based on rumours, it may debut by the end of this year. What’s exciting is that it may come in the upper mid-range segment, unlike the more powerful OnePlus 15, which starts at Rs 72,999.
While there’s no official pricing yet, we are looking at a price tag of under Rs 50,000.
OnePlus 15R key features
The OnePlus 15R could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, which launched in China earlier this year. That said, expect it to get a 6.83-inch 1.5K resolution LTPS AMOLED display with high refresh rate support.

Expect the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Instead of triple cameras, the 15R may feature a dual-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. Upfront, it may get a 16MP selfie snapper.
As for the battery, the device may get a massive 7,800mAh battery with fast charging support, just like the Ace 6. It may boot on OxygenOS 16 with Android 16 on top.
That’s all we know so far about the OnePlus 15R. Based on these features, what do you think about the phone? Let us know in the comments below.
