Oppo held a launch event in China recently to unveil the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Advertised as travel photography phones, the Find X9 duo features top-notch cameras, massive batteries, and MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 chipset.

Oppo Find X9 series: Specs and features
The Oppo Find X9 Pro houses a 6.78-inch OLED LTPO display with 1–20Hz variable refresh support and a 1.5K resolution. The Find X9, on the other hand, is a smaller device with a 6.59-inch OLED panel offering the same resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models feature a P3 display chip for enhanced gaming visuals, ultra-thin bezels, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Find X9 and X9 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset, which promises smoother performance even during extended gaming sessions. The said chip also powers the recently announced Vivo X300 series. Both the X9 flagships ship with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Battery life is a major highlight: the Find X9 packs a 7,025mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro gets an even larger 7,500mAh unit. Both support 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
For photography, the Find X9 features a Sony LYT-808 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera, paired with a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide lens and a Sony LYT-600 50MP periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, it sports a Sony IMX615 32MP front camera.

The Find X9 Pro boasts a more powerful camera setup comprising the new Sony LYT-828 50MP main camera with OIS, a Samsung JN5 ultra-wide sensor with autofocus, and a Samsung HP5 200MP periscope telephoto camera. It also features a Samsung JN5 50MP front camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus).
Both devices run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16, bringing enhanced fluidity and advanced AI-driven features. Other highlights include dual speakers, x-axis linear motor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, IR blaster, and a USB-C port (Gen 3.2 on the Pro variant). Both models come with Oppo Crystal Shield Glass protection and IP66/68/69 ratings for durability.
Oppo Find X9 series: Price and availability
In China, the Oppo Find X9 comes in five options, such as 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. These variants are priced at CNY 4,399 (~Rs 54,320), CNY 4,699 (~Rs 58,000), CNY 4,999 (~Rs 61,720), CNY 5,299 (~Rs 65,000), and CNY 5,799 (~Rs 71,550), respectively. It comes in three shades: Chasing Red, Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black.

On the other hand, the Find X9 Pro has arrived comes in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. These options are priced at CNY 5,299 (~Rs 65,400), CNY 5,699 (~Rs 70,500), CNY 5,999 (~Rs 74,200), and CNY 6,699 (~Rs 82,950). It can be purchased in colours like Chasing Red, Velvet Titanium, and Frost White.
Oppo Find X9 series global launch date revealed
Oppo plans to bring the Find X9 series to markets outside China soon. Following the China debut, the brand confirmed it will launch the Find X9 and X9 Pro globally on October 28.
For India, Oppo is expected to hold a dedicated launch event in November, although the exact date has not been confirmed yet.
