Oppo Find X9 Ultra is set to be announced as a photography-focused flagship on April 21. While the brand has shared a few details about its cameras, it is yet to confirm its core specifications. With over ten days remaining for the launch, the X9 Ultra has appeared in the database of China Telecom (via), revealing almost everything about it.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra: Specs and features
Starting from the front, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra has a 6.78-inch OLED screen, which produces 3168 x 1440 pixels. As per other reports, it will offer a 144Hz refresh rate and feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Find X9 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 onboard. It will be available in multiple LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage options, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The topmost version will support satellite connectivity.
The Find X9 Ultra will be powered by a 7,050mAh battery. Other reports have revealed that it will have support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device is expected to run on Android 16 with a layer of ColorOS 16 on top.
The X9 Ultra’s rear camera setup will have a 200MP Sony LYT-901 as the primary snapper. It will be coupled with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide camera, a 200MP OmniVision OV52A periscope telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP Samsung JNL periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.
The official images show the X9 Ultra’s left side has a Snap Key AI button, while its right side has a volume rocker, power key, and a Quick Button for launching the camera. Finally, the device measures 163.04 x 76.91 x 9.15mm and weighs around 238 grams.
The above image showcases the Find X9 Ultra in the Velvet Sand Canyon shade. It will also be available in two more options, such as Polar Glacier and Earth Tundra.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra lndia launch timeframe (rumoured)
Rumours are rife that Oppo will have a dedicated launch event for the Find X9 Ultra in May. The same event is expected to see the arrival of a Dimensity 9500-powered Find X9s. This device is said to be a toned-down version of the existing Find X9.
