Oppo Reno 15 design revealed for the first time, launch imminent

After the Find X-series, Oppo’s next best is the Reno lineup, which promises a top-notch photography experience at comparatively affordable pricing. Reports suggest that the company will launch the Reno 15 series in India by December, but before that, it is expected to land first in China this month (November). Ahead of the anticipated launch, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared an image showcasing the Reno 15’s design for the first time.

The Oppo Reno 15’s image reveals that the company will retain the cold-carving design that was available on the Reno 14 lineup. The design appears to be a refined version of what was seen on the previous generation.

The tipster revealed that the entire lineup, which is rumoured to comprise the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Mini, will be equipped with a 200MP camera. This flagship camera is already available as a periscope telephoto camera on the Find X9 Pro.

DCS added that the Reno 15 series’ front and rear cameras will support simultaneous live recording. The Live mode may also bring a new feature, though he did not reveal further details.

Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 Mini specifications (rumoured)

The Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Mini are said to feature a 6.59-inch, 6.78-inch, and 6.31-inch OLED screen, respectively, with crisp 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The lineup is expected to run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16, offering a smooth AI-driven user experience.

The Pro and Mini models are said to be powered by the Dimensity 8450 chip, and it remains to be seen which processor powers the standard model. The rear camera setup of the trio is expected to include an OIS-enabled 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The Pro model is expected to feature a 32MP front camera, a 6,300mAh battery, 80W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. The specifications of the standard and Mini models are yet to be revealed.

Oppo Reno 15 series launch date

As per reports, the Oppo Reno 15 series will debut on November 17 in China. After that, it is expected to begin its global journey, starting with a rumoured India launch in December.
