Rumours have claimed that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S26 series by the end of February. Ahead of that, the brand is also expected to unveil a couple of mid-range A-series phones, such as the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57. While we wait to hear about these launches, the A57 has been spotted on China’s TENAA certification platform, revealing all its key features.
Samsung Galaxy A57 leaked features
The listing reveals that the Galaxy A57 will have a slim profile of 6.9mm and weigh around 182 grams. On the front, it will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen offering an FHD+ resolution and possibly support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The listing does not mention the Galaxy A57’s Android version. However, it is expected to run the latest One UI 8 based on Android 16. It is also expected to receive long-term software support, as its previous generation was promised six years of Android OS upgrades.
The Galaxy A57 is expected to run on the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset. While the chipset’s name is not mentioned in the listing, it does reveal configuration details. The device is said to be offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both paired with 256GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy A57 is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery, as the listing mentions a rated capacity of 4,905mAh. The 3C and TUV certifications of the device reveal that it may support 45W fast charging.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy A57 will not see major upgrades in the camera department, and the listing supports this claim. It reveals a 12MP front camera and a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP triple rear camera setup, which is said to include primary, ultra-wide, and macro sensors.
For security, the phone features a fingerprint sensor embedded under the display. While it is not mentioned in the listing, it is expected to offer IP67-rated dust and water resistance, similar to the previous generation.
Samsung Galaxy A57 expected price
The Galaxy A56 was introduced with a starting price of Rs 41,999 for its 8GB+128GB base variant. Considering the rise in memory chip pricing, the Galaxy A57’s base model could be priced at around Rs 45,000.
