A leak that surfaced earlier this week revealed a few key details, such as the display refresh rate and battery size of the upcoming Vivo T5 Pro. Now, a new report by SmartPrix has revealed more details about its chipset and launch window. Continue reading to know everything that’s known about Vivo’s next T-series phone.
Vivo T5 Pro key specifications leaked
According to the report, the Vivo T5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is a toned-down version of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 that powered last year’s Vivo T4 Pro. It will come preinstalled with Android 16 with a layer of OriginOS 6.
On the front, the Vivo T5 Pro will house a huge 6.8-inch AMOLED screen delivering a 1.5K resolution and a crisp 144Hz refresh rate. A major highlight of this phone is its 9,020mAh battery, which is the largest ever seen on a Vivo phone.
The report does not reveal the memory configuration of the device. For photography, the device is said to be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera, which will support 4K recording, but there is no information about its other cameras.
Vivo T5 Pro launch timeframe, price (rumoured)
The report states that the Vivo T5 Pro will launch by mid-April in India. The Vivo T4 Pro was introduced with a price tag of Rs 27,999, but its successor may start at around Rs 30,000. The price hike could be mainly due to the ongoing industry-wide memory price trend.
It will be available in two colour variants, namely Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black.
