A slew of upcoming Vivo phones has received approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Among the prominent ones are the Vivo X200T and Vivo X300 FE.
According to a GizmoChina report, these devices have appeared with the respective model numbers V2561 and V2537 in the Bureau of Indian Standards database, and their Bluetooth SIG listings have confirmed their final marketing names. Here’s a look at what to expect from these phones.
Vivo X200T, X300 FE specifications (rumoured)
Reports suggest that the Vivo X200T and X300 FE will be rebranded versions of the Vivo X200s and Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which are already available in China. Both devices are expected to feature 6.31-inch and 6.67-inch displays, respectively. Both screens are expected to support a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The X200T may feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a 6,200mAh battery, whereas the X300 FE may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and a 6,500mAh battery. Both phones may support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
For selfies, both phones may feature a 50MP front camera. On the back, the Vivo X200T is said to house a 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 50MP (3x periscope telephoto) triple-camera unit, whereas the X300 FE may feature a 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 50MP (3x periscope telephoto) setup.
Vivo X200T, X300 FE launch timeframe, price (rumoured)
According to rumours, the X200T is expected to cost around Rs 55,000 and is likely to be an online-only device, whereas the X300 FE may be priced at around Rs 60,000. While the X200T is tipped to launch by the end of this month, the X300 FE may break cover within the first quarter of this year.
Other BIS-certified phones
Apart from the above-mentioned devices, the BIS authority has also approved upcoming Vivo phones such as the Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo T5x, and Vivo Y51. These smartphones are also expected to debut in the first quarter.
