Vivo has quietly announced the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G smartphone in India by listing it on its official website. Some of its key highlights include a 120Hz display, a new Dimensity 7-series chip, a massive battery, along with a durable build. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.
Vivo Y51 Pro 5G: Specs and features
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G has a big 6.75-inch LCD panel offering an HD+ resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1250-nit peak brightness. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint sensor and is the first Y-series phone to ship with OriginOS 6-based Android 16.
The Y51 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7360-Turbo chip, which promises stable performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The phone ships with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage but lacks an external storage slot.
The device packs a huge 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging. It is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera and a 50MP + 2MP dual-camera setup placed on a metallic camera module. The phone will have support for 30fps 4K video recording. It also offers other features such as 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB-C port, and IP68/69-level protection against dust and water.
Vivo Y51 Pro 5G: Price and availability
Although the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is officially listed, the company hasn’t confirmed its price and availability. What’s known is that the phone will be available in variants, such as 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB along with two shades, such as Festive Red and Noble Gold.
