Lenovo is reportedly working on a smartphone that could have an unusually large display. It is also rumoured to have a large pericope sensor. The details comes from reliable leakster Digital Chat Station on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. This is just a leak, so readers are advised to treat it with caution.
Lenovo rumoured to be testing smartphone with massive display
DCS says that Lenovo is testing a phone with a 7.5-inch flat screen. It will have a wider aspect ratio. The brand is reportedly working on an LCD panel with a 1.5K resolution. If this indeed turns out to be true, the device could be positioned among the biggest screen on a non-foldable phone. It may also rival closely with tablets. The rumoured Lenovo phone could revive the phablet era and appeal to users with media consumption, gaming, etc. Mainstream smartphones have screen size ranging from 6.1 to 6.8-inches.
The tipster also mentions that the Lenovo phone could feature a 200MP large sensor periscope telephoto camera. Details regarding the phone’s specifications and launch timeline remain a mystery.
