Realme GT 8 Pro India launch confirmed; set to rival OnePlus 15, iQOO 15

The Realme GT 8 Pro debuted alongside the Realme GT 8 recently in China. While there’s no confirmation yet on the standard GT 8’s India launch, the GT 8 Pro is now officially confirmed to debut in November in the country, as well as in other markets.

The Indian variant of the Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to feature the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. The brand has started revealing key details through a dedicated landing page now live on Realme India’s website.

Realme GT 8 Pro to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

At present, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the most powerful Qualcomm chip available in the market. The official page confirms that the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature this new chip, which promises breakthrough AI performance, faster graphics, and improved power efficiency.

This means that the Realme GT 8 Pro will rival the likes of the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15, both powered by the same chip. While the OnePlus 15 is scheduled to launch on November 13, the iQOO flagship will break cover on November 26. Realme, however, is yet to announce the exact launch date for the GT 8 Pro.

Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Realme GT 8 Pro will also include the HyperVision+ AI chip, designed to deliver an enhanced gaming experience.

Realme has also hinted at a higher optical zoom experience on the GT 8 Pro, likely referring to its periscope telephoto camera. Another notable highlight is that the device will support user-replaceable camera modules.
