How to update your iPhone to iOS 16?
To get iOS 16 on your iPhone , head over to Settings > Software Update. Depending on the version of iOS you’re currently running, you might have to tap on 'Upgrade to iOS 16' or directly find the 'Download and Install' option within the tab. On doing this, you will be prompted to enter your PIN and will be redirected to the download screen. Once the download shows completed, you can go ahead and click on install on your iPhone to get it started.
What are some new features on iOS 16?
The most prominent update available with the iOS 16 is the reimagined lockscreen. With a more customisable approach, users can now add productivity widgets, change the colour and style of the font and add depth to their wallpaper. Additionally, notifications on your lockscreen will also move to the bottom to provide better accessibility.
iMessage users will also benefit from this upgrade, as Apple has now included an option to edit, unsend and mark messages unread with iOS 16. Lastly, you can enjoy the Live Text feature that lets you copy text directly from an image, translate text and convert currency by scanning it.
