If reports are to be believed, Apple is just a few months away from launching its first foldable phone. Recent reports have already revealed that the device will have a wider book-style foldable design.

Now, in yet another leak, tipster Sonny Dickson has shared what appear to be the upcoming iPhone’s 3D CAD renders. The new images offer an early glimpse at the phone’s potential design and layout months before its expected debut.

As per the CAD images, the so-called iPhone Fold may feature a book-style folding design with a distinct camera module on the back. The camera island appears similar to the one seen on the iPhone Air, but the foldable model includes two rear cameras instead of one. The module is placed on a raised section of the rear panel.

The renders also suggest a unique frame design. Two corners of the device appear rounded, while the other two corners near the hinge are more squared. This layout may help accommodate the hinge mechanism while maintaining structural strength.

The images further show the phone in both folded and unfolded states. When opened, the inner display appears to have a small camera cutout positioned near the top-left corner. The outer display is expected to feature a centred hole-punch camera for selfies and video calls.

iPhone Fold: Specs and launch timeframe (rumoured)

Reports suggest that the Apple iPhone Fold could feature a 7.8-inch inner foldable display and a 5.3-inch cover screen. The device is also expected to include a dual 48MP rear camera system. The handset may run on Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro chip, which is reportedly being developed using a 2nm process.

Additional reports indicate that the foldable iPhone may include Apple’s C2 modem for improved connectivity. The device could be built using a combination of titanium and aluminium materials to balance durability and weight.

Industry analysts believe Apple may introduce the iPhone Fold alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series in 2026. Pricing is expected to start at around $2,000 (~Rs 1,85,000), which would make it one of the most expensive iPhones ever launched.
