While OnePlus is yet to confirm the OnePlus 15T’s launch date, it is gradually revealing its key features ahead of the launch. In the latest announcement, OnePlus China President Li Jie has confirmed the 15T’s battery size and charging capabilities.
While this device may remain exclusive to the Chinese market, its tweaked version is expected to debut in India with the OnePlus 15s branding in the coming months.
OnePlus 15T battery size, charging capabilities confirmed
According to the OnePlus executive, the OnePlus 15T packs a massive 7,500mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever on a compact smartphone. Reports claim that it will continue to feature a 6.3-inch display, similar to its previous generation released in 2025.
He further revealed that the OnePlus 15T will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The latter was not supported on the 13T. Earlier this week, he also confirmed that the 15T will arrive with an IP66/IP68/IP69K rating, offering one of the most comprehensive dust and water resistance certifications on a compact phone.
Recently, an AnTuTu listing of the device surfaced with a significant benchmarking score of 4.45 million. It also revealed that the screen may support a 165Hz refresh rate and run on Android 16.
The listing also suggested the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, promising top-notch performance in a small form factor.
The OnePlus 15T is officially confirmed to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, which is also an upgrade considering that the previous generation featured only a regular telephoto camera. This could be joined by either a 200MP or a 50MP primary camera.
For selfies, it could be equipped with a 32MP front-facing camera. Other rumoured features include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, an IR blaster, a Plus key, and a metal middle frame.
OnePlus 15s launch timeframe (rumoured)
The OnePlus 15T is likely to debut in the second half of this month in China. As far as the 15s is concerned, it may hit the Indian market in the second quarter of this year, as the OnePlus 13s was unveiled in June 2025.
