OnePlus 15T design officially revealed, launching this month

OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 15T in China later this month. Last week, the company’s president, Li Jie Louis, confirmed a few key specifications of the device, revealing that it will offer several upgrades over last year’s OnePlus 13T. Today, the brand released the following poster, offering the first look at its design.

As can be seen above, the overall appearance of the OnePlus 15T is not very different from the 13T and also aligns with the OnePlus 15. Last year, the 13T was made available in white, pink and grey, but the upcoming 15T will be available in completely different colour options such as green and dark brown. It is also believed that the device will have a white variant.

The OnePlus 15T is confirmed to feature a 6.32-inch OLED panel equipped with ultra-thin bezels and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader. It is expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the 15T will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Likely, its topmost configuration will include 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Despite having a small form factor, the 15T will house a huge 7,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The OnePlus 15T’s rear camera setup is confirmed to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The handset will offer an IP68/69-rated dust and water-resistant chassis.

OnePlus 15s reportedly in works for India

Speculations are rife that OnePlus could be working on the OnePlus 15s for the global market, including India. Last year, the OnePlus 13T was released in India as a tweaked version of China’s OnePlus 13s. Therefore, it is likely that the 15s could be based on the 15T and may launch in June this year.
