OnePlus is expected to unveil its next compact flagship phone – the OnePlus 15T – later this month in China. This device is widely rumoured to be released with the OnePlus 15s branding in India.
Ahead of the launch, OnePlus China President Li Jie has confirmed the key upgrades that will be seen on the upcoming phone. At the same time, a leaked poster has emerged, showcasing its design for the first time.
OnePlus 15T key upgrades, design details
According to Li Jie, the OnePlus 15T will be equipped with a periscope telephoto camera powered by the LUMO imaging engine. This will be an upgrade considering that the OnePlus 13T, which was released last year, featured a regular telephoto camera. Rumours suggest that, like the previous generation, the new model will lack an ultra-wide lens.
He further revealed that the OnePlus 15T will offer enhanced battery life compared to its predecessor. Despite packing a bigger battery, it will remain a remarkably slim and lightweight device. According to reports, the 15T may pack a 7,000mAh or 7,500mAh battery and is likely to weigh around 194 grams, sporting a slim 8.5mm profile.

Speaking of design, the leaked poster seemingly showcases the OnePlus 15T’s design for the first time. It reveals a rectangular module placed in the upper half, housing a dual-camera setup and an LED flash on the left. The rest of the back follows a minimalist approach. Rumours suggest that apart from white, it may also come in shades like Pure Cocoa and Relaxing Matcha.
OnePlus 15T specifications (rumoured)
Reports have revealed that the OnePlus 15T will flaunt a 6.32-inch OLED screen offering a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. For security, it will arrive with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus 15T is said to feature a 32MP front-facing camera. On the back, it is tipped to have either a 200MP Samsung HP5 or a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, alongside a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is said to power the OnePlus 15T. Its highest configuration may offer 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It is expected to include other features, such as 100W wired charging, wireless charging, ColorOS 16-based Android 16, a Plus Key, and an IP68/69-rated dust- and water-resistant body.
OnePlus 15s India launch timeframe
Rumours are rife that the Indian variant may have a different primary camera compared to the Chinese edition. The rest of the specifications may remain identical to the Chinese version. Likely, the OnePlus 15s may break cover in the second quarter of this year.
